Besides, tour description says “ tour language is English” but the guide speaks Spanish half of the time. I understand he was saying the same thing in both English and Spanish . But this is not a good use of our time. “We did a food tour with Paul and it was outstanding! Our first stop was a truly local restaurant. I would almost describe it as a “speak easy”. You enter a convenience store and go to the back and then go upstairs to a complete surprise! It was a fantastic setting right on the water. We enjoyed a beer and some of the best shrimp ceviche I ever tasted. 2nd stop was in the main square of Cancun. One again, it felt as though only locals were visiting this area.
