The food during lunch was rather below average. To swim in the cenote you had to pay extra for locker and life jacket which were mandatory to use. Tequila tasting lasted ca 10 minutes. There was no time to explore Valladolid since we were there for 20 minutes. “We weren’t able to go for sunrise due to COVID, however, leaving Cancun at 5am (on time), got us there at 8am and we were some of the first people in. Our guide, Mischel, was Mayan and very knowledgeable, keeping us engrossed with history, the language, and the place during the ride and the tour. By 11am, we were ready to go just as the big tours on buses got in and the vendors were set up. Then we went to the beautiful Ik Kil cenote.
