“Great half day trip getaway. The boat ride was great! Snacks & drinks were provided and all the staff was very friendly! You get 2 hours on Isla Mujeres, which was perfect. The island is super crowded and you’re better off just walking to the beach where it’s less congested and peaceful to see. Staff recommended restaurants on the island. The seafood one was delicious, get the catch of the day. Sadly, we couldn’t snorkel because the tides were really strong and it wasn’t recommended as a first time experience. Overall, we had a great time!!”

“Décevant le guide n’a fait aucun effort d’écoute et de compréhension vis à vis de nos différents demandes aux cours de la journée. “What a bad service! The people here are likely want to take all of your money. Firstly the driver picked up us at 8:50, then asking for the tip directly in the car. When we reached the destination, the assistant guide us some thing before snorkeling. Remember guide, they DO NOT allow us bring the camera or phone during snorkeling. But during snorkeling, the tour guide has the camera and took photos for us, then he charged $49 for all photos. I said no for this charge! Other than that, before going to snorkeling, we need to lock our stuffs in the drawer. The assistant gave us the lock and…”

The Altustours staff made every effort to ensure our safety and enjoyment on the zip-lines, the ATV riding, and our swim and diving at the Cenote. “Captain Roberto and mate Victor were good at what they do. We caught 6 fish - barracuda, mackerel, triggerfish and a small tuna on our 4 hour excursion. Compared to other fishing charters this was an excellent outing. Boat was pleasant. If you are not familiar with trolling be aware that diesel fumes and engine rumble are part of the deal for any excursion - leave the fragile on shore.”

“Jorge and Lorenzo were amazing. We took the 6 hour excursion and the first 2+ hours they were hunting for the right spot. Once they found it, we caught 6 fish, including a barracuda and a trophy nurse shark over 85 in long. They worked hard to ensure we had a wonderful experience. “This tour combined zipline, horseback riding, atv and cenote swim all in 1 day. The guides we super friendly and fun. It was very enjoyable. The only reason it got a 4 star and not a 5 star was because the zipline portion was very beginners level. You get to walk across 2 short bridges and zip thru 3 or 4 short lines and it wasn't high at all. No excitement or adrenaline rush there. Overall experience was fun for the family. Definitely recommend if you done any of the activities mentioned.”

It wasn’t always easy to find the birds but Carlos gave us pictures and descriptions of the birds afterwards and I was amazed how many birds we actually spotted including a pygmy owl. Also saw Toucans and an unusual cuckoo bird. Very productive experience.”
